start over again

A long, long time ago, when I still lived amongst the tedious landscape of corporate life, my ultimate vision was always to follow my life dream. However, the security and safety that came with this life, along with fear, failure, ego and self-doubt, held me back year after year. I used excuses like “no time” which is really a bit of a non-excuse. There is always time if you want something bad enough, I just did not know (or want to know) that at the time.
Finally and thankfully, I experienced a sudden change in my corporate role, so I took the gap and finally made the punt to follow my gut and start over. Looking back on this experience, I have jotted down 10 very simple tips which would have been invaluable advice during that time. If you want your dreams to come true, it really doesn’t take that much to get started. With some planning, you too can make it happen, you owe it to yourself to give your dreams a go…

positive thinking

I have always been conscious of what I am saying to myself and how I am saying it. Looking back on some of the most challenging times throughout my career, as well as my personal life, I have come to believe that this ‘inner chatter’ of positive thinking is what got me through those moments. The one person you chat to daily is yourself, within your own mind. These self-reflexive thoughts we communicate to ourselves, control both the way we feel and act, and ultimately turn from mere thoughts into reality. It is only by becoming fully aware of our thoughts that we can catch the ones that are negative and stop them in their tracks.

The following 10 tips about your thought patterns with some positive thinking will hopefully inspire and motivate you to create a positive future.
